videos

the first video was kind of almost sort of useless (notice i said almost). It was nice but i don't think i got anything out of it.

I like the second one the best because it showed how to do everything step by step. It showed how to blur parts of a picture and how to navigate and zoom in on the picture. It showed what everything on the palate was and the best thing about it was that it wasn't too long.

I pretty much zoned out through the third video because it was so long.....what I got from it was that it was a mix of the first two with some added junk/stuff.

this is the original picture

I like dark things so (duh) I made the picture darker. it was a little frustrating though, because I wanted it dark but i still wanted the center of the flower to show. unfortunately that didn't happen....I don't really care for the color pink that much so I liked it that the flower turned at least a little red. I cropped it this close because I really only liked the flower and the red in the envelope but not the rings. I didn't like it on the original that everything was so light. the pink flower made the envelope look weird and the rings looks sort of out of place.....and so that's about all I did.

Balance:
There is a half-way line that cuts the picture in two and because of the reflection I feel that the picture is balanced.
Proportion:
I don’t think that the proportion is good because it is in fourths and I think it should be thirds. I also think the picture is cut in half.
Rhythm:
The river and the clouds give it a flowing rhythm.
Emphasis:
The emphasis in the picture is the river.
Unity:
It’s unified with the river reflecting the sky and the repeat in the greens in the middle and bottom.
